All Sacred Heart students participate in music class. We offer general music classes for all grades, band for students in fifth through eighth grades, and an auditioned choir, which is open to students in third grade up to eighth grade. We have many school performances throughout the year such as the lower elementary Christmas program. The Sacred Heart School Choir participates in the Hernando Veteran's Day Parade each year. The band performs in fall and spring concerts, and students in 3rd and 4th grade perform in a fall musical each year. We experience music through song, dance, movement, and instruments. Students learn to read music as well as connect music to other areas including math, science, history, and culture.
