Welcome to Sacred Heart School! Our school has been serving families in the North Mississippi area for over 76 years. I am not only the principal, but also an alumnae and former parent of Sacred Heart School. I have had the privilege of being part of the school community most of my life. When I was a toddler, my parents were parishioners at Sacred Heart Church in Walls, Mississippi. They later enrolled me at Sacred Heart School there. Our school moved from Walls to Southaven in 1999. My son attended Sacred Heart School in Southaven PK-8th grades.
I began my teaching career in 1997 at Olive Branch High School. I taught a number of history classes and was the cheerleading coach. I served as an assistant principal at Horn Lake High School for five years before coming to Sacred Heart School as the principal in 2011.
Over my years at Sacred Heart School, I have been honored to serve students and their families. I have enjoyed watching our students succeed in academic and athletic competitions. My greatest joy comes from the learning service projects our students and family’s participant in during the year. I love to see the joy on their faces when they know they have helped people in our community.
Our successes inside and outside of the classroom are a result of the hard work and dedication of our staff, students and families. I hope your family receives as much joy from our school community as my family has received throughout the years. HEP, HEP, HEP, three cheers for Sacred Heart!
