Anita Belfoure

Welcome to Sacred Heart School!

My name is Ms. Anita, and I’m honored to be your child’s Physical Education Teacher. This year marks my 26th year with Sacred Heart Southern Missions, 7 years at Holy Family Early Childhood Center and the remainder here at Sacred Heart School. It has truly been a blessing to serve and grow within this community.

In our gym, my goal is to inspire and motivate each student to value their health and well-being. Throughout the year, we’ll explore topics such as the human body, sportsmanship and rules, lifelong fitness habits, and how to face and overcome challenges—both physical and personal.

Over the decades, I’ve come to believe that God has placed me in this role to serve—to be a guiding presence for the many young lives I’ve encountered. It’s a calling I cherish deeply.

A bit about me personally—I have a son named John, two energetic dogs named Stormy and Hurricane, and a cat named Tsunami. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts and recently earned my Master’s degree with a concentration in Physical Education, both from the University of Mississippi.

I’m truly looking forward to a joyful and successful school year as we work together to help your child grow stronger, healthier, and more confident.
